Will it happen? Will it not? We wait with bated breath!
The sellers won’t let us make house changes ahead of time…the lenders won’t let us close without them.
That is where it stands, as our agent argues on our behalf. Hopefully we’ll see who wins by tonight…
I have much more to post, but one child pulling on my right leg and the other pulling on my left! And they are priority, you know.
Will post again soon…

You’re going FHA? Geez, when we sold to an FHA buyer, WE were required to do the work ahead of time~we had to repaint the entire front of our house because some of it was peeling. I wish you luck.
My husband and I bought a HUD reposessed house about a year ago. It was an FHA loan. There were some things that needed to be repaired on our house as well (a lot more than yours might I add). What happens is that they give you an amount of time after closing to make the repairs and have their (the mortgage company) inspector come to make sure that those things were done. We thought that we had to do that stuff before the loan closed as well. The bank wont let you make any changes while they still own it. I hope things go more smoothly for you. Buying a house is a very stressfull thing.
