…amongst a wonderful many other enjoyable things. The last two nights, however, they have been for listening to raindrops on a tin roof! And making stove-top popcorn with a bit of melted butter and a sprinkle of salt and a handful of dark chocolate peanut m&ms intermingled in the bowl! (Oh my, I’m afraid I give you way too many sweets to think about. You couldn’t tell I love dessert, could you? I’ve gotta cut it out!)

I love listening to the rain up to my camp… Its fun and relaxing =) You can do that at your new house too!!!
Hope to see you soon!
Oh, how I love sitting on the porch in a rainstorm, especially a thunderstorm and you hit the nail with all the sweets.
We had some of that kind of entertainment here last night. A full-on storm, with bright lightning and rolling thunder. You don’t get a lot of those here, not like in NM. It’s comforting to listen to nature do what it does best.
I, too, have always loved rainstorms–Del & I sit on our porch swing to absorb the experience, usually WAY too much of a rarity during Tx.summers. My “tin roof experiences” harken way back to being kids, playing in the hayloft of the barn—Maybe with our pet racoon, who lived there. Then we had them the first 10 years we were married, living in a series of progressively larger mobile homes. I love mobile homes, too!–even the 1st one, 8′ X 26′(including the 2′ hitchwhich made the interior only 24′ long. Whole thing would fit into our living room, now. But it was HOME–our 1st!!
